At illuminAid, lasting change is powered by information that communities can trust, access and use. As we expand into new regions and deepen partnerships, we’re outlining a “roadmap for impact” that strengthens local capacity, improves behavior-change learning, and ensures our video-based education reaches those at the margins. This month, we’re exploring how planned growth, community ownership and innovative technology make that possible.

The challenge
Across rural communities, critical health and agriculture messages often fail to reach families due to poor infrastructure, low literacy and limited front-line staff. Traditional leaflets and workshops can’t always reach people where they live.
The opportunity
illuminAid’s roadmap prioritizes local production of educational videos using solar-powered gear. When communities see their language, their leaders and their stories, trust increases, and so does behavior adoption.
Scaling impact
We plan to equip more Local Video Trainers, strengthen monitoring systems and expand cordless projector hubs so more people gain access to information that saves lives and livelihoods.
