Mali World Vision: WASH- Benefits of Water Pump

Our second workshop in Mali and our third collaboration with World Vision, OMPT’s first project of 2019 was a unique one. Whereas we typically train organizations in the production of video to be shared among beneficiary communities, this project saw World Vision staff produce impact videos for fundraising efforts in the U.S. and Europe.

Mali World Vision: WASH- Importance of Latrines

One of the amazing things about OMPT’s intervention is the incredible variety of applications video can have for organizations working in developing nations. Although we predominantly train in the production of instructional, behavior-focused content, video can be successfully implemented at any stage of a project. Whether it’s used to train staff before they head out into the field, create educational video content for the world’s most neglected populations or produce impact videos about the amazing work they’re doing, video is a potent tool that can dramatically increase an organization’s capacity.
