Join us for a one-of-a-kind art auction featuring our local, talented, silkscreen printmaker and muralist, Jake Early!
Jake Early has been working with art since he built his first silkscreen printing press between the years of 1999 and 2001. With very little items at hand such as an old table saw and other discarded products, Early built his very own working printing press while still working in his previous 9-5 job. In 2005, Early took a chance and left his job to pursue his dream. More than twenty years later Jake Early would have never imagined that the project he initially started, with no plan to follow, would lead to a successful working printing press and rich artwork. Below you can see all of Jake Early’s hand-printed serigraphs since the year of 2001 to present day.
The proceeds from this event will go to illuminAid. We are a non-profit organization with a great deal of years working with, equipping, and training organizations in developing nations to produce and share low-cost video content in order to help educate and safeguard local communities facing our world's most pressing challenges. Our vision is to work together to create economic opportunity, positive social change, and provide instruction and knowledge for both individuals and communities. We believe each person deserves the opportunity to improve their life through education regardless of language, literacy, or location.
Let's come together to appreciate art, make a positive impact, and support a great cause!
